This was purchased for my son’s office at work; he lovesFantastic quality, I use it to store some of my makeup. It’s beautiful and I love the look.Really nice product!Starting with the good...This is a gorgeous ceramic mug. It's pretty enough to consider using as a coffee mug, except it isn't designed for beverages and might not be safe to drink out of (paints, etc.). It's that pretty though. The colors and designs are very attractive and this goes really nicely in my bathroom.The weird part that I don't like though...The diameter of this mug is so big that things fall over. It feels so weird to be upset that this nice vessel is too big, but the size makes it a little bit impractical.I got this for my bathroom because I like to keep a cup of cotton swabs on my counter. It's so much quicker to grab one out of a cup like this than it is to open the drawer, move stuff out of the way, fish one out, close the drawer... It's just easier to have them on the counter. I'm setting up a second residence and originally used my favorite whiskey glass to hold my swabs. I was pretty happy to find this cup to swap it out and get my whiskey glass back. But this isn't as utilitarian as my other glass was because the swabs kind of fall over in this cup. I can sort of rectify that by loading a ton more swabs in there, but that isn't very practical and the effect wears off as I use them and the count goes down.I know I'm kind of an edge case with my q-tip use, but this will pose the same problem no matter what you store inside.I requested this cute little ceramic container in black (gold accents) with the intention of using it as a planter pot - It's the perfect size and adds a bit of fun to the mix! The container I received arrived quickly and despite a few minor imperfections (see photos for air bubble pitting on the bottom) is exactly what I had hoped for! This would be a great addition to house your plants, art supplies, office writing utensils or in the bathroom for makeup, brushes/tools; I look forward to snagging a few additional colors to do just that!The second I saw this pencil cup I knew I needed it. You can see from the photo its very on brand for me. It is perfect, so cute, it doesn’t have a typical shiny ceramic finish, but this pretty luxe satin finish instead. I want three more. I work for a pen company so I have tons of cups of pens. I want one for my entire collection.You will not be disappointed by this. I did get this product free in exchange for a review, but I also selected it myself and will be going back to purchase it in some of the other gorgeous colors.It's just as it looks in the picture. I loved the gold and green design and it looks just as nice in person. There's a subtle bit of glitter and texture on some of the planets, and it adds a really nice level of detail to the piece.I am super impressed at the beauty of this pen holder!I have been using it to hold all of my pens at my desk and I can't help but stare at it a few times a day. The color is a gorgeous deep green color with the solar systems in gold. It fits right in with the decor of my office and entire space. It could be used to hold makeup brushes as well.
