I was very impressed with this pencil case. The colors weren't faded, Very durable stitching, Zipper was very sturdy. I would definatly purchase this product again.This pencil bag seems well constructed with sturdy fabric and a good zipper. My son loved the cool baseball logo and said he would be the only one at school this year with one like it. The bag is a little smaller than I expected so I hope everything he needs fits in it. Overall, a unique addition to the school supply list that we are happy with.I got this for my kid and I'm keeping it.This comes in a simple plastic bag. It didn't have any smell when opened. The bag is very well made and I was unable to find any manufacturing flaws. The fabric is thick (it says oxford which is cotton in a basketweave pattern but it sure feels like it has nylon or something in it). The pattern is adorable and perfectly clear. The zipper works smoothly and without catching or snagging. The interior includes a center flap with pen/pencil loops, the back is a large section. The top has a netted pocket which I find annoying as I always catch and snag the netting . . . but it is what it is.Overall very well made and too cute for me to pass up. The material seems durable (says it’s oxford, which I think is a thick cotton, it does feel like an oxford shirt), the stitch work is good. Mine is the musical note fabric. It looks attractive, with the note staff design squarely worked up into the assembled case (not crooked or off balance looking). The case is padded, which is not even mentioned in the write up. Quality is very nice, smooth zippers, good size, padded, and suitable for many uses.I like this case.I use this musical note pencil case for all the pens and pencils I keep for my hand bell music. I use different colors for different notes, and also keep clips to keep the music straight. It is a very handy case, and all my bell ringing friends are jealous of the musical notes. I will also use it to hold my art pencils.When this arrived I had to check to see if I'd made a mistake. I was looking for a pencil bag, and I envisioned a bag with the ability to hold a set of pencils, exactly as the description promised.Instead I got a cosmetic bag. This should have been called a cosmetic bag. The seller is exaggerating the size of this bag. It is very small.Also, this bag is very cheaply made. The sides are caved in, and this would only be partially corrected if it was stuffed full. The corners are sunk in and the construction is very cheap.The pattern is beautiful, but on this bag, it just looks junky.
