Lovely brushes that come with a lovely compact zip up case. The brushes are short handled which gives good control for acrylic work and these brushes work very well with acrylic and watercolour paints. I've not tried them with oil or gouache but I have long handled brushes for oil paints so unlikely I will, so cannot comment on how well they do with those. They are marketed as acrylic brushes a d you get a good range of size and type of brush in the set. I didn't give full five stars because I had a duplicate brush (angled) and no fan brush, which is shown on the front of the packaging and on the item online, but aside from that, these brushes are well worth the money and are a good starter and intermediate set for those on a budget. No hair loss and clean up really well.This is a good set of brushes on the whole, in a nice protective case. The reason that I gave it 4 stars was due to a lot of bristles falling out of the largest brush whilst I was using it to apply a high quality (Sennelier) varnish/glaze over acrylic! They are not as good as the system 3 brushes that I purchased a few years ago, but for the price I would recommend them for painting - just not for thick or sticky mediums!Great value pack of brushes I use for acrylic painting. Excellent shaped brushes for all types of different brushstrokes. Lays a good stroke. No loose hairs. Comfortable to hold. Easy to wash after use. Arrived well packed next day. Very satisfied.Am in to oil art but decided to add acrylics so I can use odourless painting in caravan on holiday. Excellent value. Very good zip up pouch, all of the brushes hold their shape well , ideal painting flowers so shape of brush fibres are important. Compact set for easy storage, I can even carry in my coat pocket. Definitely, without question, recommend.Water based acrylic paint washes easily off these which keep their shape for fine painting. Recommended.
