For my daughter school because she’s deserve it ?I bought this for my daughter because she breaks the typical mechanical pencil leads. I keep extra leads on hand in this size but most of the pencils for this size are not kawaii and she wanted cute for school. Some of the leads write very faint so I was going to switch them out but inside was a plastic shaft holding a tiny lead, with no way to replace the lead with a standard refill and have the pencil work as the plastic shaft was necessary. I try to buy refillable pens and pencils as often as I can, and I had never seen a mechanical pencil that was not refillable so it never occurred to me it wouldn't be.Cutest pencils! Exactly as described and fast shipping!These pencils are literally just pens, with the tip of the ink tube being replaced by a bit of graphite (and the tube being empty). Clicks like a pen. Barely writes. Cute, but not worth it.Cute pencils, the lead is thicker than other mechanical pencils so I’m not sure how to get refills. One was broken and one was missing lead entirely.My daughter like me order the pens for her ,she pretty like the pens, every pen have different picture , she share pens with her classmate , she only keep one for herself ,because they are not see each other during summer break time .My daughter wanted special pencils to start the school year with. We thought these were adorable - until they arrived. They look and function like click pens. The lead (2.0) is only about a quarter inch long and mounted to a plastic tube in the pen to look and function just like a pen refill. No ability to refill the lead once it's been used up because of the design. I figure she'd go through the six-pack in less than a couple of weeks. Even the standard disposable Bic brand pencils are refillable for continued use. Definitely not worth $10 and such a waste from an environmental standpoint.
