It's a zippered case. It fits what I need and is perfect for a variety of small items. I use it as a case for cell phone chargers when travelling or a small case for personal care items like a razor and toothbrush.The zipper broke in the third day my daughter was using !!!Liking this a lot. What a piece of junk. Zipper is cheap and slight. Pencil case wasn’t even full when it broke.
