I used to carry around a little baggy full of various pencils and a little sketchbook but I found that my pencil broke (on the inside) a lot. I hate drawing and then the tip falls out of the pencil and keeps falling out every time I sharpen so I looked up how to prevent that and some blogs were suggesting a pencil carrier with slots for each pencil. I found this cutie and thought I'd give it a whirl along with some new color pencils by Arteza. Thus far I have not had any broken pencils from the bunch and I use them a lot...like every day. I like this size to because I can fit my sandpaper, eraser, and sharpener (tiny one) in the larger slots on the first pocket.Really great little pencil holder. Highly recommend for the traveling artist or casual sketcher etc.
